Grip Truck serving all of West Virginia and Pennsylvania

Blackwater Video Productions has a well-equipped grip truck - a 1 ton GM Express van - looks like a sprinter van - with 2 seats and a lift gate equipped with grip, electrical, and support equipment as described below. We pack a wide range of equipment into a small package.

 We have an assortment of Aperture, SGC tube lights, and Litepanel 1x1 Bi Color lights, larger HMI fresnels and PARs, and Source IV lights are priced 'a la carte' at the bottom of the page and can be easily added to the truck on request. We work in Pittsburgh as local. We travel to all of West Virginia, including Charleston, Huntington, Clarksburg, Beckley, Lewisburg, Parkersburg, and Bluefield.

​The truck only rents with a grip or gaffer, so that it is covered by our insurance. We will also require the clients provide proof of liability insurance with us listed as an additional insured. 

Some recent projects have included shoots for the 2024 election town halls for both presidential campaigns, West Virginia Lottery, Animal Planet, K Hovnanian Homes, Freightliner, Bosch, Vice News, Amazon, Netflix, and several independent filmmakers.

- Truck with grip package and gaffer           $1,175/day
- Truck with grip package. gaffer and grip  $1,875/day

- Add on a complete light package suited for interviews, choice of 3 Aperture heads, and MC/B7 kit (with 4 of each) - $400/day


- Mileage rate for grip truck is $1.00/mile
