Blackwater Video Productions is a proven and reliable provider of deposition video services. By using professional equipment, you can rest assured that the audio will be clean and clear. We DO NOT do reporting, and our videographers are not notaries, if you need a notary, please notify us when you call. We work with many qualified reporters, and make arrangement for one if you ask in advance.

Deposition Rates

- $175 Setup and the first hour of record time.

- $10/tape. (DV tapes are 1 hour).

-  $55/hr after the first hour. (pro-rated after the first hour in 15 minute increments).

- Depositions that require more than an hour of travel will be billed for a minimum of a half day (4 hours).

- Travel outside the Morgantown area is at $.85/mile (rate includes labor).

- Copy delivered to noticing attorney within 7 business days. 

        -Expedited delivery $25/hr.

- Overtime and Weekends:

                   - any time before 7AM or after 7PM will be billed at $80/hr.

                   - Saturday and Sunday depositions $200 setup and $80/hr.

-Cancellation Policy:

     - Less than 24 hours notice $25 administrative charge.

     - Less than 2 hours notice $155 setup charge.

     - Cancelled on arrival $ 155 Setup and first hour.

Deposition Travel Rates

- Travel outside the Morgantown area is at $.75/mile (rate includes labor).

Post Production & Courtroom Playback

- Encoding to MPEG-1, Quicktime, or Windows Media format for CD-Rom $30/hr.

- Editing rate: $85/hr.

- Courtroom playback is at the same rate as depositions.

- Additional copies $40/DVD (copies include logs of deposition). A DVD holds 2 hours of video.
